Pennati Costruzioni Meccaniche S.r.l. was founded in 1922, and started its activity as a manufacturer of machinery for bulk solids handling, such as: bucket elevators, belt conveyors, screw conveyors…
During the years the company has developed its know-how in the field of the grinding, that has become soon the principal activity with the planning, construction and marketing of the most varied types of mills: hammer mills, cylinder mills, blade mills, pin mills, “Birullo” mills, cone mills. In the last years the problems relevant the disposal of the Solid Waste have induced us to develop the efforts of our technical office to the search and development of the machinery suitable for the treatment of the light fractions of the Solid Waste.
In parallel to the above, we have studied the problem of the inertizing and the grinding of the ashes from the Power Stations, making our know-how suitable for the mentioned applications. Currently, in the sectors of our competence, close to the traditional production, we are turned to the study and the realization of all the special applications in case of particular inquiries from our customers, because we have developed our know-how in the direction of all those problem that are connected to the treatment of the bulk solids.
Our technical office is to develop the base and detail engineering, both in the case of new applications, and in the case of projects of “revamping”, as well as the plants that each single installation can involve: piping, electrical, instrumental, foundations, supporting structures, etc. Our traditional customers are the most important Engineering Companies, both Italian and foreign; every purchase order is performed in conformity to the Technical and General Specifications from our customers and in conformity to the quality control plan, that is issued for approval of the customer.
All our machinery and the attached technical documentation are in conformity with the D.P.R. 459/96 arts. 2 – paragraph 2. Under request, we can offer our service as technical support, by our specialized personnel, for the mechanical erection, commissioning and start-up of our machines and plants, and eventually to effect the scheduled extraordinary maintenance in field. In the case these activities are in the customer’s charge, our technicians can supply a technical support under a supervision of the mentioned activities.
